HYBRID SYSTEM
The net metering system is the best way policy and incentive for the residential and commercial solar industry. Simply put, net metering is a way of using the electric grid to store the energy produced by your solar panel system for use at a later time such as nighttime.
With a properly sized solar power system, you can generate enough electricity to more than meet your home's electricity needs. Rather, the additional units take it back from WAPDA after sunset in the evening. The number of units of electricity your solar generates varies between the winter and summer sunnier months because the sun spends less time in the sky in the winter, and the solar irradiance also decreases, resulting in less energy. Units are generated. Net metering helps offset these seasonal differences in solar products by crediting extra units of electricity generated by your panels so you can use them after a certain date. This is the practice all over the world, but in Pakistan, all electricity providers limit the size of solar power to the approved sanctioned load.
